Galvin & Reiko‘s wedding was a multi-cultural event. Reiko had family and a group of close college friends who came in specially from Japan. Galvin’s relatives and friends from Indonesia and India also came in for the wedding :)

Their solemnisation was held at the Black Box theatre at the National Library, followed by a dinner reception held at The Pod. It was the first time a wedding dinner took place at the venue.

Friends and family from both sides of the newly weds performed. Reiko’s siblings sang a song item that moved everyone to tears.

After the couple’s first dance, everyone joined in on the dance floor and just danced through the night!
It was a loud night!

And this is Reiko’s adorable 92-year-old grandfather – who is known to have fixed up a cabinet from scratch with power tools back home in Osaka! :)
